Hereward Care Services already had a website, but it was beginning to look a little stale and outdated, and there were several technical flaws. The company had been undergoing a period of growth and change, and decided that the site really needed to be completely re-designed in order to reflect their image as a caring yet professional organization. They wanted to be able to offer comprehensive information to those that wanted it, without overloading the site with words, and causing it to become dry and boring. After some discussion, and some prototype work, we developed a neat, professional-looking site with subtly soft features to present the desired image. We also included download features to enable interested parties to locate further detailed information if they want it, and links to online inspection reports for the care homes that the company owns. Some optimization and digital photographic restoration was required, and we also provided advice and guidance in legally reproducing maps both for the website, and for the company's printed material. Further research was carried out in order to provide useful and informative links to websites of charities and organizations that would benefit the company's service users. |
